Letybo® is a prescription neuromodulator (botulinum toxin type A) that temporarily relaxes specific facial muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines. By inhibiting the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, it prevents muscle contraction and thereby smooths wrinkles such as frown lines (glabellar lines).

You may be a good candidate if you:

• Are in generally good health and an adult (18+).
• Have moderate to severe frown lines (glabellar lines) between the eyebrows.

During your consultation at Enigma Medi Spa we will review your facial anatomy, medical history, previous injectable treatments, and aesthetic goals to determine if Letybo® is appropriate.

Letybo® is FDA-approved for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines (the “11s” between the eyebrows).

Off-label uses (where permitted by your provider) may include other dynamic wrinkle areas, although these uses should be discussed with your injector.

• Consultation: We’ll discuss your goals, assess your anatomy and relevant muscle movement.
• The procedure: Small intramuscular injections of Letybo® are placed in targeted muscles. The treatment typically takes about 10–15 minutes.
• Comfort: You’ll experience minimal discomfort; many providers use fine needles and optional numbing.
• Immediately after: You may have slight redness or swelling at injection sites, which generally resolves quickly.

• Onset: Many patients begin to see effects within a week. Some improvements may appear sooner, with full results visible by 10–14 days.
• Duration: Effects typically last around 3–4 months (approximately 12–16 weeks) depending on individual metabolism, muscle activity, and treatment area.
• Maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain results.

Downtime is minimal; most clients return to normal activities right away.

After-care tips:

• Avoid rubbing or pressing the treated area for ~24 hours.
• Avoid intense exercise, heavy alcohol use or heat exposure (sauna/hot tub) for ~24 hours if possible.
• Use gentle skincare and sun protection.
• Report any persistent discomfort, asymmetry or concern to your injector.

Common side-effects include mild redness, bruising, swelling or sensitivity at the injection site.

Rare but serious risks (as with all botulinum toxin products) include muscle weakness outside the treated area, eyelid droop (ptosis), swallowing or breathing difficulties — especially if mis-administered.

• While Letybo® and other neuromodulators (botulinum toxin A products) work via a similar mechanism, Letybo® has a unique formulation by Hugel Inc. (South Korea) and was recently approved in the U.S.
• It uses a distinct potency unit and concentration; units are not interchangeable with other neuromodulator brands.
• Some early reports suggest a faster onset or more natural-looking spread, though individual outcomes vary.
